Second Meadow New 250 Seater Stand
In November 2007 Biggleswade United club manangement annouced the expansion and upgrade of the
Second Meadow football ground.
The development work is to be funded by the Football Foundation and both Town and District Councils. The club will fund additional costs and any shortfall in the budgetting which has been estimated at £5,000 to £10,000. The total cost of the project has been estimated at £70,000 - £80,000.
New 250 Seater Stand
The plans include the development of a new 250 seater stand, new external fencing and turnstile entrances at both ends of the ground. After development the ground will comply with the Football Associations new minimum specification of level 8 clubs in the national pyramid. Biggleswade United are currently a level 9 club.
